STUCO MEMBER EXPECTATIONS

ATTENDANCE
Student Council members should strive to attend all biweekly meetings.
However, those who cannot may
miss up to 2
meetings unexcused each year before they are removed. If you cannot attend a meeting, please fill out the
excuse form
found on the Resources page.
HOURS
In order to be considered an active participant, Student Council members must complete a total of
10 hours or more
throughout the school year.
Seniors must complete a total of
15 hours or more
in order to receive their senior cord from Student Council.

PROBATION HOURS
When members do not meet their expectations, probation hours will be given. These are extra hours that a member must complete ON TOP of the required number of hours specified above in order to remain in the club. Probation hours may be issued for:
-
missing meetings without an excuse form
-
signing up for an event and not attending
-
deleting a sign up within 24 hours of the event without notifying an officer
-
misbehaving at an event
If it is decided that you should be issued a probation hour, you will be notified by your Vice President through Remind messages and it will be documented in the hours sheet.
REMOVAL
If, at any point, a member is unable to fulfill their duties or fails to uphold Student Council's values, they will be given a warning by the officer team. They may later be removed from this organization if the behavior continues. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
